Summer DIY-1: drape silk dress~

First DIY dress this year for summer~
I got this beautiful stretch silk from Banksville Designer Fabric store cost about $18.99/yard. I'm a dress size 2, and it's a pretty simple dress, so It didn't cost much.
It came out better than I thought, so I have three looks with the same dress.

A fix upper dress!

I got this little black dress from ZARA special edition last year when it was on sale for $19. But after wash the trim wasn't as neat as it before and I tried to iron it and it didn't work. So it's been sleeping in my closet for quite some time, and I've been thinking of a way to make it shine again.
So here is what I did.
1) sew the trim with double red thread.
2) sew some sequins to high light the neck line.

The second stop was Nashville Tennessee. The country music wall of fame! And the Smoky Mountain national Park! While my hubby was driving finally I could take a rest. You love with those Dolce Vita sandals!

Coast to coast road trip-1

After living in the states for nine years, I finally had the time to do a cross country trip, drove all the way from Westport Connecticut to LA California. The total is over 3400 miles which took me 11 days to drive. The first stop was Staunton Virginia which is a little historical town. We had breakfast at a local diner called Beverly, then we Went to the farmers market.
